Great instructors ensure great classes. Instructors spend years learning their art, and many have trained at the studio for over 20 years. Instructors contribute to Kenpo, often with a thesis style project. And of course you will find them patient, understanding, highly proficient, and professional.

Gary Caswell
Mr. Caswell has been in the arts for over 30 years, training in styles such as Tang Soo Do, Shotokan, and San Soo Kung Fu. He started his Kenpo Training in 1979 with Mr. Bob White, and eventually trained with Mr. Perry and Mr. Bill Neff at United Karate Kung Fu Studios. He received his black belt in 1984 and now holds a 7th degree black belt. Mr. Caswell is also a board member of United Martial Arts for Christ, and teaches a Christian Karate class called TDK. (Training Disciples Through Kenpo)
Mark Hopkins
Mark started his training at United Karate Kung Fu Studios in December of 1979, and received his Black Belt from Mr. Robert Perry in November of 1988. He continued his training with Mr. Neff until 2000, and now trains and teaches with Mr. Caswell. Mark received his 3rd degree black belt and has a great passion for the art of Kenpo.


Paul Knight

Paul started his training in 1985 at United Karate Studios. He received his black belt in May of 1993, and now holds a 3rd degree Black Belt. Paul enjoys teaching and working with weapons such as nun chucks and tri staff.
